What is Romania famous for? This is a question that we ask ourselves before each trip, aiming to confirm or disprove stereotypes and traditions of the country. Romania has a lot to offer, from its stunning landscapes to its rich cultural heritage.

Romanian Cuisine

One aspect that stands out is the traditional Romanian food. The cuisine is magnificent, and during our trip, we discovered many curiosities about this amazing country. From Sarmale (stuffed cabbage rolls) to Ciorba (traditional soup), Mamaliga cu Branza (polenta with cheese), and delicious desserts like Papanasi or Cremsnit, Romanian dishes will make your mouth water just thinking about them. We recommend trying the local restaurants and, if possible, experiencing the culinary tradition at the home of a local family, as there is no better way to immerse yourself in the flavors of a country than through the recipes passed down by grandparents.
